We had bbq, chicken, ribs, hot links and brisket with side of jalapeno corned bread, mac and cheese with potato salad. It was at the Whiskey Tip in Santa Rosa for a So Co Lesbian meet up group.
The food was just ok, drinks were over priced but the company was priceless!

I made chicken and brussel sprouts. Seasoned with fresh lemon slice and every day spice from TJs..a sprinkle of garlic/pepper seasoning made it even gooder...

Made a pork butt in the crock pot to make many meals with for the week--
Yesterday- we enjoyed some asian lettuce wraps (pork, asian vinaigrette, avocado, cilantro, kimchi, cucumber). Tonight: shredded pork, bbq sauce, coleslaw (cabbage, shredded carrots, radishes, cilantro, green onions, homemade mayo/red wine vinegar) |

Slow roasted, nicely seasoned chicken (old fashioned gravy made from drippings)
Baby carrots glazed with local Tulip Poplar honey and a little apple juice. Baked potato for my roomie Stuffed portabella mushrooms (stuffed with spinach artichoke dip) smothered in melted cheese Half-n-half sweet tea Tomorrow is yummy homemade chicken salad from leftover roast

I made an awesome dinner tonight...
I was at the market and found sweet turkey sausage on sale... Then when I got home I went looking for pasta and found whole wheat l Penne. Boiled that with a sprinkke of garlic salt, browned the sausage, realized I had no sauce but DID have a can of fire roasted diced tonatoes...let the sausage simmer in that with some spices...added some frozen veggie mix...zucchini peppers etc Drizzled the pasta with olive oil and added the sausage mixture. Sooo tasty. Frozen fruit bar for dessert
