A working oven. Mine is good for slow roasting or for charring, but nothing in the middle. I so miss holiday baking, and making bread!
Oh, and a saucepan. I had a lovely four quart Revereware saucepan and lid, but I forgot it was on the fire the day the guy came back and trimmed our trees and now it's charred too, well beyond redemption. Sheesh. |

{{{{{{{{{{{Christie}}}}}}}}}} The repair guy said it was definitely the thermostat; he was going to replace it, but then he couldn't get one becuase it's so old that they discontinued making the parts.
BUT... I have been looking into Nesco ovens. Amazon has one for $70. I just need to find out if I can actually bake cookies in one before I add it to the ever-growing wish list. |
