I haven't really seen anyone address this subject from a poly point of view, yet. Most responses that I've seen have addressed what folks do when moving from one monogamous relationship to another one. If I was to become sexually involved with somebody who had difficulty or a preference then I would simply use their toys on them or I would find something that worked for us both.
