No, that one was true, sadly. It was in the 20s just before the stock market crash and a very real, very tragic trend. I found newspaper articles documenting 3 other double suicide pacts in the Schenectady area when I was researching my great grandfather's case.

My lie was that my sister was arrested for drunk and disorderly after mooning Yankees fans in Yankees stadium.
She did actually do that but wasn't arrested, just thrown out of the park.
